Prepare for Grad School and Scholarship Application Essays While You Study Away!
A new course, Spectrum of Essays: Questions of Travel (EXPOS—UA 15) will be offered in Spring 2014 for Juniors and Seniors who studying away in FALL 2013.
You will be using the experience spent studying abroad, along with ideas gained from other classes in your degree, to weave together essays that, in their act of intellectual synthesis, are perfectly suited to graduate school and competitive scholarship applications.
This class will also suit aspiring writers interested in non-fiction, travel, memoir and literary essays.
Admittance to this class is by portfolio review. There is a minimal time commitment in the Fall 2013 while studying away (brief writing exercises) but the class itself will convene in Spring 2014.
