Students must purchase textbooks before arriving in China as they will not be available for purchase on-site in Shanghai. If you’re not sure yet if you will take a certain class, you can have books shipped to you in Shanghai after you’ve decided. Some online booksellers like Amazon.com do deliver to Shanghai. Keep in mind, though, that there can be delays and significant costs associated with international shipping.
